Testing Coordinator

CAMPUS TESTING COORDINATOR
Job Description

Opening Date: April 20, 2020 Closing Date: May 30, 2020
Reports To: Campus Principal
Terms of Employment:
10 months per year; annual contract
Primary Purpose:
The Testing Coordinator, under the supervision of the campus principal, coordinates and implements all the state and national mandated assessments, and programmatic testing as assigned by the district Testing office.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university
• Valid Florida Teacher certification preferred
• Candidate must have satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check. Non-refundable fee paid by the employee
Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Demonstrates effective, written and oral communication skills; interpret policies, and procedures as needed per testing program(s).
• Demonstrates organizational skills which utilize problem-solving and adaptability for creating and maintaining a positive orderly, purposeful, learning/working environment for instructional purposes.
• Demonstrates ability to assess and modify an effective instructional program aligned to the Campus
Improvement Plan, Comprehensive Needs Assessment, and Program Evaluation.
Experience:
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the field of education
Major Responsibilities and Duties:

Program Planning and Management
1. Responsible for the organization, implementation, verification, collection, and distribution of materials for all assessments.
2. Adhere to testing procedures and deadlines.
3. Maintain databases and files as assigned by the Principal. Assist in the correction of coding errors as needed.
Instruction/Program Delivery
4. Responsible for the organization and training of all assessments.
Professional Knowledge
5. Assist with investigating and preparing reports for reported test irregularities.
6. Serves as a resource person to campus principals and teachers to meet the instructional needs of students.
7. Interpret testing procedures and regulations for campus personnel.
8. Attend all assessment trainings as directed by the Principal and DCPS Director of Testing.
Communication and Community Relations
9. Liaison between campus and the DCPS Director of Testing for proper implementation of assessment guidelines and criteria.
10. Ensure routine cycle of communication of testing information between campus personnel, Special Education,
ESOL, 504, and RTI committees on testing program requirements.
Assessment
11. Responsible for providing access to student assessment results data bases to key campus program personnel
12. Responsible for campus testing documentation compliance
13. Responsible for the integrity and security of all assessments

Salary: $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
